Extending efficiency to design and installation

Keston
A modular prefabricated Keston boiler rig is combined with high-efficiency calorifiers to achieve a heating and hot-water solution.
Keston’s prefabrication service is, says managing director Nick Stevenson, designed to ‘take the headache out of designing a heating system, by way of bespoke prefabricated, pre-assembled boiler-plant rigs that are designed individually to meet the exact needs of the project and dramatically cut on-site installation time’. The company’s range of boilers are up to 97% efficient and SEDBUK A rated, including the higher-output models such as the C40/C55 (11 to 55 kW) and the C90/C110 (22 to 110 kW). A fax-back enquiry form is straightforward to fill in, so engineers can be confident about what they specify and that they will get exactly the right system to meet their requirements. From this information, Keston proposes a prefabricated boiler-plant solution. The service takes care of all design calculations and production details, and delivery is within three to four weeks of the order being received. Practically any heating output can be achieved using the modular system and multiple-unit installations. Floor-standing rigs are available for two to four C40 or C55 modulating condensing boilers. Rigs of two boilers can be wall mounted. Any combination of up to 20 boilers can be used. For additional hot water, Keston Spa high-efficiency unvented calorifiers are available in sizes from 125 to 400 litres. The small-diameter plastic flue system can run up to 45 m from units to flue terminal. info@keston.co.uk
