Fan minimises backdraught

Addvent fan
Automatic shutters are a feature of a new range of low-voltage fans from Addvent.
An automatic-shutter version of its standard low-voltage 100 mm axial fan is now offered by Addvent. The AVX100 ALVN is described as a premium fan that minimises backdraught due to the superior seal achieved by its automatic shutters — improving the efficiency of the fan and comfort. The fan is powered by a 12 V supply from a transformer outside the area served, so that it can be used in bathrooms or shower rooms. Control alternatives include standard, pull cord, timer, humidistat and humidistat pull cord. Performance is 21 l/s, exceeding Building Regulations for ventilating average domestic bathrooms and WCs.
