Standby generators ex stock

Standby generator
Standby power generators with outputs from 5 to 250 kVA are available ex-stock from Finning Power Systems.
Finning Power Systems offers ex stock a range of standby generators with outputs from 5.5 to 250 kVA and aimed at building-services engineers and electrical contractors. Generators with outputs up to 500 kVA are available to order. They are particularly aimed at retail applications, and a new company (EP Retail) has been set up to supply them. Olympian generators are available as single phase up to 200 kVA and 3-phase from 10 to 500 kVA. These generators are made by Caterpillar, and the smaller units are powered by Kubota engines. They can be fuelled by diesel or natural gas. Dave Hockey, manager of EP Retail, says, ‘From the research we have undertaken, we anticipate that around 80% of sales will fall into the 5.5 to 30 kVA sector. With lengthy factory lead times on many generator sets, we also believe that there is room in the market for a supplier who can provide a fast, direct service and deliver a 250 kVA or below generator set within five days.’ mailbox@finning.co.uk
