This flame-effect fireplace from Smith’s Environmental Products connects to a wet central-heating system.
The HydroFlame flame-effect fireplace from Smith’s Environmental Products combines a fan-convector heater served by a wet central-heating system and built-in thermostatic control. The flame effect is created by an energy-saving light bulb and specially developed ribbons moved by circulating air to give the impression of a real fire. Dual models also have an electric heating element. HydroFlame does not use gas, and there are no live flames or hot coals. For increased safety, it has a low surface temperature. The flame effect can operate without heating.
