JS air curtain welcomes Esprit passers-by

This air curtain at the Esprit store in London’s Covent Garden was installed as a turnkey project by JS Air Curtains.
JS Air Curtains has supplied and installed a Windbox 18 kW air curtain for the Esprit Store in London’s Covent Garden. It was specified by consulting engineers E&M Tecnica of Surrey. It is 2 m long and allows Esprit to leave its front doors invitingly open to passing trade, while maintaining a comfortable indoor environment. The Esprit project was managed by the in-house installation department of JS Air Curtains, which provides a complete service to ensure the customer is guided through the installation of the air curtain, from design to product training. This includes agreeing exact project specifications before installation, a step-by-step method statement for the project, detailed scheduling, risk assessment and a post-installation trouble-shooting and handover meeting. Windbox air curtains are available in any RAL colour or stainless steel. Low-noise centrifugal fans are driven by an external-rotor motor that give up to five speeds. A micro-perforated air-inlet grille acts as a particle filter, reducing servicing to just a periodic wipe or vacuum. These air curtains can be mounted horizontally above a door up to 3.5 m high or vertically either side of doors up to 7 m wide. Heating can be supplied by low-pressure hot water or electricity.
