Industry prepares for major showcases in March

Bookings for the industry’s double show at NEC from 1 to 3 March — RAC 05 and H&V 05 — are reported to be surging ahead. Bookings for the established RAC refrigeration and air-conditioning show were reported last month as running 13.5% ahead of the previous show two years ago. Among major air-conditioning names participating will be LG, Mitsubishi, Hitachi, Samsung and Daikin. RAC 05 will also feature a series of end-user briefing sessions covering all industry sectors — commercial, retail and leisure and hospitality. The newly established H&V 05 biennial event for the heating and ventilating industry is supported by trade associations HVCA and FETA. Within two months of its official launch, nearly half the space allocated had been taken up. Exhibitors include Applied Energy, Baxi Potterton, Camfil Farr, Ferroli, Flakt Woods, Keston, Lochinvar, Overclean, Royair, Stokvis, Systemair and Viessmann. Added attractions for the H&V event include technical seminars, live demonstrations in the skills centre and business networking areas. www.racexhibition.com
