Pegler Yorkshire flush controllers save water

By allowing urinals to flush only when school cloakrooms in Derbyshire are used, Optiflush helps conserve water.
Optiflush flush controllers for urinals from Pegler Yorkshire are used in schools throughout Derbyshire. One of the most recent installations is a school in Belper. When Optiflush senses movement in the cloakroom, it activates a flush after a delay preset by the installer. The device also provides a hygiene flush twice a day, a particularly valuable feature in schools where a cloakroom may be unused for six weeks during the summer. Peter Fuller of Derbyshire County Council says, ‘We installed the mains-powered version of Optiflush and have round it to be very reliable.’ A battery-powered version is also available.
