Hushon shows its flexibility

Among equipment from three manufacturers supplied by Hushon for the refurbishment of a major office building in Oxford was a Toshiba VRF air-conditioning system with 12 outdoor units.
Air-conditioning distributor Hushon used products from three manufacturers to fulfil the air-conditioning and ventilation requirements for the refurbishment of a major office building in Oxford. The refurbishment incorporated a Toshiba VRF system using 12 SHRM heat-recovery 3-pipe outdoor units matched to 67 indoor units. Total cooling capacity is 284 kW. To complement the VRF, a Danvent supply-and-extract external air-handling unit fitted with an energy-recovery crossflow plate heat exchanger was installed. It handles an air volume of 4 m3/s. Heating and cooling for this AHU is provided by two Hushon H Range (Hitecsa) 27 kW direct-expansion heat-pump outdoor units. As well as supplying all this equipment, Hushon gave full assistance in selecting, sizing and application to the installing contractor, V-Race, and the design team at Kier Building Services Engineers.
