Capita Symonds acquires Pearce Buckle

Capita Symonds has acquired M&E engineering consultancy Pearce Buckle (Design Engineers) Ltd for an undisclosed sum. Pearce Buckle is a leading engineering consultancy in the custodial sector, with key alliances on the HM Prison Service Constructor Framework Agreement. It also has a strong reputation in the healthcare sector, having worked for a large number of NHS Trusts and a partner on the ProCure21 framework. The company has 40 staff in Sheffield. It will be known as Capita Pearce Buckle and work closely with Capita Symonds’ existing 100-strong office in Sheffield. Formed in 2000 and subject to a management buyout in 2002, Pearce Buckle is currently working on over 20 HM Prison schemes. This is the third acquisition for Capita Symonds in the past four months. Our reputation and expertise has seen us develop a portfolio of high-profile projects with a variety of clients, come of whom have very sensitive operations.
