Skills Council acclaims Dalkia training scheme

presentation
Television personality Sue Barker presents a regional training award that is part of a national training awards scheme organised by the UK Skills Council, to the training manager of Dalkia Mike Perry (right) and training officer Derek Matthews in recognition of Dalkia’s excellence in energy-management training. Over 140 Dalkia technicians and supervisors have completed the course, which qualifies them for affiliate membership of The Energy Institute. Further training qualifies them to become energy-management technicians and, ultimately, energy managers under the industry-recognised TEMOL Training in Energy Management through Open Learning programme. Mike Perry says, ‘This award shows we’re doing all the right things and doing them well. I think the judges liked the interactive nature of the programme.’
