Room control unit is native BACnet

The potential for applying Priva’s Comforte CX room control unit to integrated systems is provided by native BACnet capability. This combines the advantages of RS485, such as simple wiring and standard converters, with the versatility of BACnet. Comfort CX is described as a new concept in controlling climate, lighting and sunblind settings in working and recreational areas. A single integrated room controller can perform the function of a number of separate devices. Installation is made fast and easy by the universal use of Wieland GST18 connectors. These units can communicate with one another and with hierarchically superior devices via the BACnet MS/TP data network. For example, lights controlled by several controllers can be switched as a single group by simply creating a controller cluster. Software developed by Priva enables building owners to set up flexible room configurations without any detailed knowledge of BACnet. Room control can be combined or set to stand-alone operation; there is the ability to adjust lighting, sun blinds and climate independently.
