Flat-plate solar collectors
Vaillant has introduced two new flat-plate solar thermal collectors, the auroTHERM plus VFK 150 and auroTHERM VFK 145.
The VFK 150 contains an anti-reflex glass with 96% transmission of light. The VFK 145 contains a solar safety glass with 91% transmission.
Both products have a gross collector area of 2.51 m2 and a net collector area of 2.35 m2. The glass in both products is 3.2 mm thick, and they both weigh 38 kg. They come with a 10-year warranty.
A range of mounting brackets enables them to be installed on a pitched roof or they can be integrated into the roof without brackets. There are easy-fit gravel trays for flat roofs Push-fit hydraulic connects speed up installation.
