MHS launches next generation of heating substations

MHS

MHS Boilers has introduced the next generation of its Nexus district-heating substation. These heat-interface units enable metered services to be installed in multi-dwelling developments and served by central plant.

The latest range includes units that can be built into the wall (Diatech) or fixed to the wall (Futura). There are direct and indirect units that can be supplied with and without water metering. Metering of chilled water can also be supplied.

LF units are available in both mounting options to operate with lower flow and return temperatures from central plant such as condensing boilers.

Bitherm versions include a heat exchanger for complete hydraulic separation of the main heating circuit from circuits in individual dwellings.

Conter Zone distribution units are built into the wall and can distribute and meter the supply of services such as centrally generated heating, centrally generated hot water, cold water or chilled water.

Bespoke Nexus units can be produced.

Standard meters are CE-marked turbine-type class C with LCD and long-life battery. They can be upgraded with a data-transmission cable for centralised reading of data.

MHS can also supply a wide range of boilers for central plant.
