Backflow preventers protect

Valve
Triple protection against backflow and ease of maintenance are features of Honeywell’s BA295 series of backflow preventers.
Compact backflow preventers to ensure that contaminated water cannot flow back into the public mains supply are available from Honeywell as the BA295 series. They use the proven RPZ (reduced-pressure-zone) principle used in Honeywell’s existing products — with a thorough redesign to simplify servicing and greatly reduce spares holding. These devices protect drinking-water systems against back pressure, backflow and back syphonage. Fluids up to liquid category 4 to EN 1717 are protected. Triple security is provided by two check valves and a discharge valve dividing the unit into three chambers, each providing a separate pressure zone. Unrestricted access to all internal components simplifies maintenance, and the discharge valve is mounted underneath.
