Steam in, hot water out — Rycroft SteamBreeze units provide a neat interface between a steam main and heating or hot-water applications.
Rycroft’s SteamBreeze provides an interface between an existing steam main and DHW or heating systems. Based on stainless-steel plate heat exchangers, the standard range provides for heat loads up to 1.1 MW, which in DHW services can provide a flow of 5 l/s. SteamBreeze units have a small footprint and require only the input of electrical power or air for pneumatic control, steam inlet and condensate outlet, with flow and return connections on the secondary side. Accurate temperature control on the primary side can be made by electric or pneumatic valves. Also included are isolation, anti-vacuum valves and line strainer. High-limit protection is provided. Standard units can be extended to include equipment such as secondary pumps, buffer storage,pressure-reducing sets and specific valves arrangements — all controlled ttrough the central panel.
