CentraLine from Honeywell range continues to grow

CentraLine/ Honeywell

CentraLine from Honeywell has added two products to its range. They are the Spyder terminal-unit controller and Zio programmable wall units.

They enable CentraLine partner companies to design and install complex HVAC systems cost effectively. They also meet user requirements for greater energy efficiency with ease of use combined with simpler design, installation and commissioning time than previously possible.

Both units communicate through a 2-wire polarity-insensitive connection using Sylk bus communications.

Zio wall units make it easy for building users to adjust room conditions. There are versions with a built-in temperature sensor and built in temperature and humidity sensors.

Spyder controllers all have an internal DC power supply, so an external transformer is not needed. They also have an internal real-time clock that saves installation time and provides a backup for getting back to network time if the network goes down.

Spyder is available in three versions. There is a basic terminal-unit controller, a model with additional VAV capability and a model with VAV and built-in actuator to ensure that the correct actuator is used for all VAV applications.

All three Spyder models have six universal inputs, three analogue outputs, four digital inputs and eight digital outputs.
