Comfort unit is designed for hospital rooms

Ciat Ozonair claims that its Coadis Medical Comfort is the first air-conditioning unit on the market specifically designed for hospital rooms. These units incorporate an air purifier and an all-in-one diffusion system to enable installation in suspended ceilings in the entrance to hospital rooms.

Ciat’s Purify function avoids the harmful effects of PM2.5 particles in three ways. The first is a filter to reduce PM2.5 particles by 90% in 30 min. The air inlet is protected to prevent the intake of bacteria from the suspended ceiling. Finally, air is thoroughly mixed and optimised to ensure uniform diffusion of treated air into the room.

A ‘condensate-free’ function avoids the potential risks of bacterial proliferation due to water retention in the drain pan.

Energy-saving features include extended operation in free-cooling mode, high-efficiency fans and V3000 electronic control to optimise air flow to meet varying day and night requirements.
