Titon launches central mechanical extract unit
Titon’s energy-efficient central mechanical extract unit is designed for ease of installation and commissioning. It is SAP Appendix Q eligible and EST Best Practice compliant. Supply air is normally provided by trickle vents.
The clam-shell design of the CME1 Q Plus incorporates a tilted impeller, single level ports and a capacity of over 400 m3/h at a reasonable static pressure, making it suitable for delivering System 3 of ADF ventilation for dwellings of up to about 300 m2 floor area.
The duct ports are all on one level close to the fixing surface and directly accept 204 or 110 mm rectangular ducting, so there is no need to use bends, flexible ducts or adaptors in most installations.
The compact size of these units enables them to be used in spaces such as airing cupboards or loft spaces. They can be fixed in any orientation and serviced without disturbing any ductwork.
