Fluorescent lamps save energy using existing control gear

Osrams

Lighting energy consumption for existing internal fittings with conventional control gear can be reduced by up to 10% simply by substituting Osram’s new Lumilux T8 Energy Saver fluorescent tubes and Dulux D Energy Saver compact fluorescent lamps.

Both lamps can be used in existing systems where a complete system change, including electronic control gear, is not feasible.

The 23 W version of the Dulux D ES lamp can reduce CO2 emissions by 10 kg over its life by replacing the Dulux D ES 26 W lamp. There is also a 16 W version to replace 18 W lamps.

New 32 and 51 W fluorescent tubes can replace 36 and 58 W tubes. The new tubes work with CCG and LCG applications. The 32 W tube can reduce CO2 emissions by 70 kg over its life, which is extended to 15 000 h.
