Vortice upgrades CAD system

Vortice has invested a further £16,000 in upgrading CAD systems for its technical design office in Burton on Trent. It builds on an upgrade undertaken a year ago and will improve turnaround time for the designs and quotations, particularly for System 4 projects and ductwork layouts through properties.

Ian Davis, technical manager, said: ‘Increased demand, particularly for technical drawings for our family of energy-efficient products [such as the HR 400 heat-recovery unit illustrated] has set a requirement to upgrade our CAD systems once more. We look forward to being able to further improve our already fast turnarounds to customers.’
