Workshop heater burns waste wood

Fabbri, biomass, boilers

The Fabbri range of wood-burning workshop heaters from Euroheat can burn the waste wood that is generally available in factories and warehouses. These heaters have outputs from 20 to 410 kW and burn all types of dry wood and secondary waste wood such as broken pallets.

Wood is loaded manually through the upper large fuelling door, and ash is removed through a lower access door. Efficiency is around 83%, and heat is available 15 minutes after lighting. When the heater reaches 40°C, a large fan circulates heated air.

A 93 kW model can heat 1500 m3 and costs £4238 plus about £350 for a flue connection. Not only is the fuel free, but money is saved by avoiding the cost of disposing of it as waste.
