TUV certification for electronic air cleaners

Trion, electronic air cleaner

Trion’s complete range of Air Boss T Series of electronic air cleaners has been independently certified by European testing house TUV for compliance with European safety and performance regulations for removing odours and fumes in commercial kitchens.

There are 11 models in the range with two to eight combined aluminium ioniser/collector cells with stainless-steel spiked ionisers with air volumes from 4420 up to 17 680 m3/h.

Contaminated air is first drawn through the washable metal-mesh prefilter, which traps larger particles. Remaining particles, some as small as 0.01 µm, pass through a strong electric field, where they receive an electrical charge so they can be collected in the collector-plate cell section. An optional disposable charcoal after filter can be fitted if required.
