Kentec’s revolution in fire-alarm mimic-display technology

Kentec, fire alarm display

Kentec’s Sigma Matrix range of conventional fire alarm mimic display panels uses flexible fibre-optic light guides to illuminate areas on a floor plan, laid over a high-resolution grid, to give a clear indication of the origin of an incident. This system dispenses with wiring and enables indicators to be moved, added or removed on site.

All indicators can be configured to operate via switched positive or negative inputs to provide compatibility with a wide range of input/output boards. This feature allows Sigma Matrix mimic displays to be designed and supplied to replace any existing mimic when an update is required, regardless of the manufacturer of the fire-alarm panel.

The Sigma Matrix range is available in a wide range of sizes to fit Kentec Sigma conventional panels and in bespoke sizes to fit any make of fire-alarm panel.

The zonal display can have up to 500 indicators. Standard enclosures can house 24, 56 or 88 LEDs.
