High-performance air conditioners

air conditioner
Liebert-Hiross HPS air conditioners are now available with cooling capacities up to 14 kW from Emerson Network Power.
Emerson Network Power has added 10, 12 and 14 kW models to its range of Liebert-Hiross HPS high-performance air conditioners. The HPS range is applications to IT applications and telecom sites. The displacement concept is used to distribute air. Hot air from electronic equipment rises and is absorbed. Cold air is fed from the top in a downward flow to the base of the equipment racks. This approach prevents hot spots in both the space and the equipment. When appropriate, cold air is drawn in from outside to help provide cooling, reducing energy requirements. These units include emergency cooling, supported by an emergency-power source such as 48 V batteries or and independent AC generator.
