Improved steam-pressure control valve

Valve
Accurate control and fast response — Spirax Sarco’s DP27 steam-pressure control valve.
Spirax Sarco’s DP27 steam-pressure control valve replaces the DP17 and combines accurate control with increased resilience to harsh environments, easier servicing and simpler selection. These benefits are achieved by a redesign of the pilot valve block, new control spring and enclosure and other improvements. The face-to-face dimensions have not changed, so it is easy to retrofit. The pilot valve is protected from pipeline debris by an easily replaced filter. The flow path through this filter ensure no debris is left in the valve when it is removed for cleaning. The pilot valve assembly is easily accessed from the top for rapid servicing without having to disconnect pipework. An installed DP17 can be fitted with the new pilot block. Just one version of control spring covers downstream operating pressures from 0.2 to 17 bar gauge.
