Trox stars in 5-star international hotel

A host of air-handling equipment from Trox helps deliver a high-quality environment in the 5-star Kameha hotel in Bonn, German.

The international-award-winning 5-star hotel in Bonn, Germany, has installed a wide range of Trox air-handling equipment to deliver a high- quality environment. Designed by architect Karl-Heinz Schommer, the Kameha hotel has 190 rooms and 63 suites designed by Dutch designer Marcel Wanders. It also has an 18 m-high event hall that can hold 2500 people.

The hotel was named as one of the world’s best international real-estate projects at the MIPIM real-estate trade fair in Cannes.

The engineering team for the project approached Trox to supply the air-conditioning equipment, which includes large numbers of grilled, slot, swirl and floor diffusers, volume flow controller and sound attenuators. Trox also supplied smoke detectors and fire dampers.
