Dimplex launches cost-effective solar collector

Dimplex, solar, solar thermal

Dimplex’s SOLC201 flat-plate solar collector provides a cost effective way of producing hot water from solar energy. The panels wil be eligible for financial incentives from the Renewable Heat Incentive for both commercial and domestic installation. Up to four panels can be connected in series in horizontal or vertical orientation to suit the available roof space.

There is a choice of roof fixing kits for slate or tile roofs, or freestanding for flat roofs or ground-level installation.

A laser-welded meander absorber pipe with highly selective coating gives a low pressure drop for the overall collector field. 30 mm of insulation to the rear and sides retains heat.

These units are covered by a 10-year warranty.
