Back to school for Elta

Elta, fan, ventilation
Helping to maintain good environmental conditions in new buildings at Springwell Community College in Derbyshire is a collection of Quietflow fans from Elta.

Elta has completed a contract to supply fans from its Quietflow range as part of an ongoing redevelopment of a college in Derbyshire. Springwell Community College at Staveley near Chesterfield serves nearly a thousand pupils aged 11 to 16. In recent years the original 1960s buildings have been extended significantly and new facilities added, including a performing arts centre and a sports complex.

Local main contractor Bowmer & Kirkland is involved in a multi-million construction project to create five new buildings with a combined footprint of 6150 m2.

A series of Quietflow SQS single fans and Quietflow SQT twin fans was specified by M&E sub-contractor Derry Building Services and supplied through MasterAir of Leicester. These fans are tested to the latest British Standards for air and noise performance in Elta’s own test facilities.
