Dimplex now offers a range of air-source heat-pump packs containing everything needed for most common domestic applications. The packs include LA MS or LA PMS heat pumps. LA MS models are designed to minimise noise emissions and offer outputs from 9 to 16 kW. The PMS range offers flow temperatures that can be varied from 35 to 65°C, with weather compensation.

For new-build properties, the heat pump can be sized to supply space heating and domestic hot water. For refurbishments, the existing boiler can be retained as an additional heating resource for a flexible, responsive and economical bivalent systems.

Other equipment in heat packs includes circulating pumps, buffer cylinder and hot-water cylinder (if required) or combined buffer and hot-water cylinder, weather-compensating heat-pump manager, and controller and connection cable.

Where hot water is required, the packages are supplied with a choice of Dimplex EC-Eau stainless-steel unvented heat-pump cylinders or combined heat-pump cylinder and buffer tank. Hot water is provided at mains pressure.

These heat-pump systems can be combined with underfloor heating, SmartRad fan convectors or traditional radiators.
