Smedegaard boosts efficiency of its circulator pumps

Smedegaard, circulator pumps

Smedegaard’s SimFlex A range of glandless circulators provide all the benefits of variable-speed control and also have permanent-magnet technology to make the motors even more efficient. These pumps are designed to run at a slower speed than many similar pumps on the market, reducing noise levels and maintenance.

Another feature is the use of the TUT seal to limit the circulation of water around the motor rotor and, hence, the likelihood of the build-up of system deposits — reducing maintenance and prolonging pump life.

Other features include alarm contacts, remote stop/start contacts and 0 to 10 V DC signal without having to use add-on modules.
