Bosch goes bigger in its CHP offering

Larger CHP units added to the range from Bosch Commercial & Industrial Heating extend the company’s offering to 19 to 400 kW of electrical output. The efficiency of the new units, which have electrical outputs of 365 and 400 kW can enable the initial investment to be repaid in as little as two years. The new models are compatible with primary and secondary exhaust-gas silencer to minimise noise levels during operation.

The new CHP units have a number of operating modes and open interfaces, and, when combined with other heat sources in an energy centre, are supported by intelligent controls and technical support to ensure that mixed heat sources are optimised for maximum energy efficiency. The strength in associated controls allows for system integration and, therefore, maximum installation flexibility.

Bosch offers a free CHP feasibility study for potential sites to ensure the system is precisely sized and maximum efficiency is achieved. Service and maintenance packages are available to guarantee system performance and investor peace of mind.

A CIBSE-approved CPD course on CHP is available and is aimed at consultants, contractors and specifiers.
