Horizontal shower heat-recovery unit

Heatrae Sadia, heat recovery, DHW, shower

Heatrae Sadia has launched a horizontal shower heat-recovery unit (SHRU) to complement its vertical unit. The new unit is easy to install and can be fitting in new or existing properties. These heat-recovery units transfer heat from discharged waste water into the incoming water supply, reducing the energy need to heat water. The horizontal SHRU is up to 30% efficient.

The horizontal SHRU can be fitted directly underneath a shower tray and then to the shower mixer valve, cold inlet for the DHW cylinder or both.

The standard product comes with an integrated waste trap and a slide slope to ensure that waste water is disposed of effectively.
