Hitachi VRF controller avoids cold draughts

Hitachi, VRF, air conditioning

Hitachi Air Conditioning’s CS Net control system prevents the temperature of air from System Free indoor units used as part of a Set Free VRF system creating cold draughts in by not letting the air flow become too cool. This off-coil protection feature works with System Free indoor units which have an air-on thermistor, air-on thermistor, liquid thermistor, gas thermistor and electronic expansion valve.

The system improves working conditions and reduces customer complaints and call outs for engineers.

It also avoids staff adjusting the room temperature to increase the room air temperature to compensate, leading to an increase in discomfort effects and a possible increase in energy usage.
