Australian air-treatment technology comes to Europe

Bio-Oxygen Europe, odours, IAQ, Indoor air quality

Bio-Oxygen Europe has been set up to bring the Australian-produced Bio-Oxygen system for eliminating odours, sterilising and purifying air to the European market. The system is said to guarantee odour-free results, along with 99% elimination of viruses and bacteria. It is compact as has low maintenance requirements.

Odours, gases and chemicals in the air are said to be removed in less than 15 seconds. The system kills bacteria, fungi, yeast, mould, mildew, protozoa and viruses.

Applications include kitchen exhaust ventilation to tackle grease build-up and smoke, hospitals to prevent the spread of infection and food production.

Electrons produced within the device are sprayed into the incoming air, and, according to information from the company, ‘Oxygen molecules absorb the electrons and become active magnetic particles that work to rid and purify the air around them.’
