Clarke Controls is expecting that the state-of-the-art zoned control system will reduce Wickes’ energy use for heating by around 25% across all 200 sites, while keeping the Wickes team warm and comfortable. Cutting energy use will have a big impact on Wickes’ carbon footprint, as the company works towards its ambitious sustainability goals.

Clarke Controls’ innovative solutions not only enhance sustainability but also deliver substantial cost savings for Wickes. By prioritising efficiency
and environmental responsibility, Wickes looks
set to achieve significant savings on energy spend for heating annually, reinforcing the notion that sustainability and economic viability go hand in hand.

The partnership involved 100 new installations and the upgrade of 100 existing controls, revolutionising Wickes’ approach to energy management and sustainability at sites across the country.
