Vaillant supplies solar DHW for Oldham housing development

Vaillant auroTHERM flat-plate solar collectors provide domestic hot water for a development of 23 houses in Chadderton, Oldham.
A housing developed in Chadderton, Oldham, has hot water provided by Vaillant auroTHERM solar panels and auroSTOR cylinders. Holroy Developments is using this equipment in 23 homes with three to five bedrooms and plans to install more Vaillant solar products in other housing developments in the town. Terry Doyle, contracts manager with Holroy Developments, says, β€˜In addition to cutting out the time-consuming process of obtaining products through many different suppliers, Vaillant also provides the whole heating package, which is more efficient tor us and the environment.’ Vaillant solar DHW system can provide 50 to 60% of annual DHW requirements. They use indirect solar radiation, not direct sunlight, so they work effectively in the UK.
