SAV engineers energy centres for maximum efficiency
LoadMatcher engineered energy centres from SAV Modules combine technologies such as CHP and heat pumps for maximum efficiency
SAV Modules offers a service to create mini district-heating stations combining a range of technologies, including heating pumps and CHP. Fully engineered custom-designed solutions can reduce carbon emissions by up to 30% and slash energy costs. LoadTracker packaged energy centres can incorporate small-scale CHP, heat pumps, condensing boilers and instantaneous hot-water modules — all linked to high-efficiency thermal stores. Combining heat pumps and CHP overcomes the problem of heating and electrical loads not matching or the carbon-reduction potential of heat pumps being reduced by having to connect them to the national grid. LoadTracker energy centres will meet 80 to 90% of a building’s total heating and electrical demand, with only a small contribution required from the grid. They use EC Power’s XRGI 15 CHP unit in multiples. These machines have gas-powered engines and can provide 1 to 15.2 kW of electricity and 17 to 30 kW of heating. All electricity generated is used, and none is exported to the grid.
