Trane launches new air-handling units

Trane, AHUs, air handling units

The CLCF Climate Changer range of air-handling units from Trane comes in two versions. One is designed for comfort applications (pictured) in office buildings, schools, hotels and other commercial buildings. The other range is for hospital, laboratory and pharmaceutical applications. The AHUs are Eurovent-certified and available with airflows from 1000 to 45 000 m3/h.

Features of these AHUs include an innovative casing design, factory-installed controls and a wide selection of advanced energy-saving options.

Trane has developed selection software certified by Eurovent to tailor each AHU with the coil and fan options to meet individual requirements for acoustics, energy efficiency and other key criteria. Similar software is available for engineers and consultants to visually design a CLCF unit.

There is a video about the new units on Trane’s web site for engineers, from which the software tool can also be downloaded (website below).
