Heat-recovery units

Thermal Technology’s Diamant range of standardised heat-recovery units uses thermal wheels that are carefully selected to give operating efficiencies of up to 90% in accordance with EN 308 and low pressure drops. Double-skin cases are used in accordance with EN 1886 to give high levels of insulation, good sound insertion losses and low air leakage from the casing.

F7 bag filters are used on both the supply and exhaust sides of these units. They are chosen to give a long life and high dust accumulation capacity through the use of large surface areas with low pressure drops. Both fan sets are plug types with EC motors enabling close control of air flow.

There are eight sizes of Diamant unit with air flows from 0.22 to 4.2 m3/s. In addition to the base unit, hot-water heater batteries, chilled-water coils, electric heater batteries, silencers and attenuators can be selected. Each unit comes with an installed and pre-wired intelligent control system with a colour touchscreen and several password levels. Software can be updated via the USB interface.
