Frese supplies HIUs for Provident Tower

Frese, space heating, HIU

Frese has won a contract to supply HIUs (heat interface units) for the Provident Tower residential development near Canary Wharf in London. This 43-storey tower consists of 484 apartment, of which 343 are private, with the remaining apartments being in a 12-storey curved podium adjoining the tower.

The HIUs will supply instantaneous domestic hot water to each apartment, with the ability to control temperature quickly and accurately when needed.

Frese is supplying its Conheat single-plate HIUs, which have been widely used in Denmark. They have hot-water outputs of 55, 65 or 75 kW.

The project also required energy consumption to be metered so billing can be carried out remotely from a central location.
