CHP offers ultra-low NOx emissions

Ener-g, CHP low NOx

Ener-G offers a range of CHP units with NOx emissions that are five times lower than the widely accepted limit of 250 mg/m3 at 5% excess oxygen and standard atmospheric conditions. That means that NOx emissions are less than 50 mg/m3 at the same conditions. These CHP units have electrical outputs from 50 to 230 kW.

The reduction in emissions has been achieved without expensive external abatement technology for NOx and without increasing the size or footprint of existing CHP units.

In addition to exceeding the strict new air-quality standards necessary to achieve planning permission in the Greater London boroughs, these low-NOx CHP units will also qualify for maximum credits under the revised BREEAM standard. They are also fully compliant with the Code for Sustainable Homes and Clean Air Act.
