Calling all chocoholics

Vortice, ventilation, fan, MVHR, heat recovery

Vortice is helping to ensure that homeowners on a residential development in York called The Chocolate Works will have superb air quality delivered energy efficiently by its Vort Quadro and Punto Filo range of intermittent extract fans. Roy Brown, area business manager, explains, ‘We want to show housebuilders that we can offer a project-managed service at Vortice. We see a project through from the design stage right up to assisting the homeowner with maintenance advice and home packs. We are delighted to be able to offer this assistance on the Chocolate Works site.’

This development of 1-to-4 bedroomed homes and apartments is on the site of the former Terry’s chocolate factory near to York Racecourse. David Wilson, recently named house builder of the year at the Yorkshire Residential Property Awards 2015, is installing the Vortice products.

The Punto Filo is installed directly through a wall. The Vort Quadro can be ducted to a roof tile. Ease of maintenance is a key feature on both ranges, with the Vort Quadro have an easily removable washable filter.
