Vortice offers a choice of thermal-wheel or horizontal cross-flow heat exchangers with the launch of its NRG EC and NRG ECR commercial heat-recovery units. They are quick and easy to install and have low power consumption.

The backward curved centrifugal impellers offers flows from 28 to 2220 l/s.

There are EH versions of both ranges, which come with wired control panels and LCD screen to enable integration into a building-management system. Free heating and night-cooling functions are also provided.

Technical and marketing manager Jennifer Quinn said, ‘These commercial units ensure that public buildings do not miss out on the energy savings HRUs can offer. They also play a major part in ensuring good indoor air quality.’
