AirSource wins Salford business award

Air-handling specialist AirSource has won the SME of the year category at the Salford Business Awards, and was also runner-up for the innovation award. The company was formed in 2010 and landed its first project, worth £250 000, within a fortnight.

Managing director David Clayton said, ‘The SME of the year award is a fantastic achievement. Wining identifies us as a valuable contributor to our local economy and an innovator within our industry, which we will use as a springboard to even more innovation and growth.

The company provides heating and ventilation systems. Projects include well known football stadia, leisure facilities and shopping centres. A recent project was to supply 82 units to a London school in a deal worth £380 000.
