Cold-water-boosting solutions

Dutypoint, pumps, boosting, booster

Dutypoint has developed a CIBSE-approved CPD providing guidance on the specification of cold-water-boosting solutions. Called ‘Cold water boosting: design, sizing and selection’, this CPD has been developed for consultants, architects and specifiers at all levels involved in design water systems in residential or commercial buildings.

In a session lasting about an hour, Dutypoint experts explain the scenarios in which water-boosting solutions can be of particular benefit, such as high-rise building developments. Participants will also gain a greater understanding of pressure and flow requirements, how to determine appropriate sizing and selection, and mitigate any potential issues.

Among Dutypoint projects are the 44-storey Baltimore Tower residential development in London’s Canary Wharf (pictured) and the prestigious Princess Royal Grandstand at Cheltenham Racecourse.
