One of the UK’s biggest housebuilders, Galliford Try, has named the Glow-worm brand as the sole specification for domestic heating boilers on all of its private and social housing sites. Iain Bevan of Glow-worm said, ‘We are delighted with this win. The whole contract will be for approximately 4000 boilers per annum from our complete range of HE products. The whole variety of boiler types will be used — combis, system and open vent — and we expect that our accessories such as condensate pumps and plume-diverter kits will be used as required.’ Picture shows Galliford Try staff on a visit to Glow-worm’s factory at Belper.
