Due for completion in Spring 2009 is the £1.4 million services contract for this new teaching facility at the University of York.

Balfour Kilpatrick has been awarded a £1.4 million contract for a new state-of-the-art teaching facility at the University of York. The 3500 m2 building will provide much-needed teaching space and also house the main IT hub.

Joseph Lowe, project engineer with Balfour Kilpatrick, says, ‘The new development is one of many at York University. The building will provide modern design and technologies, such as intelligent lighting and actuated window controls to form a critical part of the environmental strategy of the building.’
