Delmatic makes emergency-lighting monitoring easier

Delmatic

Delmatic’s photocell for monitoring emergency lighting can test, monitor and log emergency lighting. It relays performance data to a PC for logging and pass/fail analysis. Part of the company’s Metro package for monitoring and testing emergency lighting, this photocell can be used with any light source.

The photocell is mounted directly onto the luminaire body and measures the light through a hole in the body of the fitting. It can also be supplied with a optical fibre light pipe for remote mounting. Connection options include individual connection, shared connection and connection via a DALI network.

When used with a plug-in Metro One Ten lighting-control module, the photocell connects via a 2-core cable directly to the device input ports at the module.

When used with hard-wired 12-output Metro Twelve Twelve modules and 4-output hard-wired Metro Four Four modules, the photocells connect to a shared 2-core cable that terminates at the intelligent device-input port of the module.

With DALI connection, the photocell connects direct to the DALI bus and is assigned a unique DALI address. Information is fed back to the head-end PC via the DALI bus.
