Chillers delivered as flat packs

ICS, Tricool Thermal, chiller

ICS and Tricool Thermal offer a solution to the replacement of chillers in basement plantrooms that are difficult to access, or other areas. Standard and bespoke chillers can be manufactured at ICS’s 4600 m2 facility in Southampton, tested and systematically broke down for transport and delivery. Once delivered to site, a chiller can be rebuilt in situ and retested.

Tricool Thermal’s manufacturing capabilities enable bespoke units to be built to meet special requirements of footprint restrictions, unit capacity, noise constraint — or a combination of these.

Dave Palmer, manufacturing director of ICS, says, ‘Our range of flat-pack chillers is a positive step in resolving the logistical problems posed by many office blocks in city centres. Our range can accommodate the strictest of size constraints, and, furthermore, units can be purpose built for the customer. Since acquiring Tricool Thermal in 2007, ICS has been able to demonstrate flexibility in responding to a customer’s individual site requirements, making us a reliable and cost-effective choice.
