Balfour Beatty wins BSF contracts

Balfour Beatty Engineering Services has been awarded two contracts within the Oldham Building Schools for the Future programme. They are valued at £10.5 million. The company will design, supply and install M&E services to the new-build Oldham Roman Catholic School and the partial rebuild and remodelling of North Chadderton School (illustrated).

Services will include CHP systems, natural and mechanical ventilation, hot and cold water, above-ground drainage, fully interactive building-management system, modular wiring systems, fire alarm, security and access-control systems. Sustainable aspects include rainwater harvesting.
